Texas Trip
On April 20th this spring, I am going on a trip to Texas with Mr. Cloutier and the Outing Club. I love clouts trips so much. There is so many awesome places that he goes that a lot of people will never end up seeing. The views that I saw when I went to Colorado i saw mountains 14,000 feet plus, that were well above the clouds. It was just so amazing how they could form and how majestic they were. But this year we are going to Big Bend National park, and it is going to be stellar. I'm excited for three things. The Dessert, Tarantulas and Scorpions. I'm a bit of a adrenaline junkie, so i enjoy all types of animals and things that could eat me whole. I luv it... There are a few big mountains in Texas that i'm excited to climb and one of them is at the base of our campground. That is the biggest one in Texas and it is right in the campground. Another cool things that there are a bunch of wild pigs that run free and my plans are to kill one and eat it. It is one of my passions to hike ive loved it for as long as i can remember. When i went to Colorado a couple years ago I hiked the biggest mountain in continental america which was called Mt. Elbert. It was 14,000 feet plus and it was a amazing hike. But the hardest hike ive every been on was called Lawn Lake hike it was 13.5 miles and Sam St earns and I jogged it. It took us 5 hours and we made it back before some people even made it half way. Anyway i am excited about Texas because I love new adventures and new experiences that i will be able to remember forever and share with my children.
The Track Season is Approaching
With spring attempting to come, although we are expecting a 12" plus storm on Wednesday... Comes the great sport Track. I love Track for two reasons. It prepares me for football, and It is not a team sport, which means you cannot blame anyone else for failure. All you have to blame is yourself. The two events that i do in track is discuss, the one where you throw the Frisbee thing, and pole vault. The one where you run with a long stick and attempt to spring yourself over a certain height, and pray to god that you pole does not snap and impale you. Track is a pretty laid back sport and there is only about 5 or six meets. Last year was my first year ever trying pole vault, It took me awhile to get the form down, which still is not perfect, but i was getting the right idea. My first attempt ever at pole vault was a absolute disaster. I was on the runway, Ready to attempt the 5 foot mark. I began to run and pick up speed. I planted the pole in the pit and began to spring up, up, up and strait back down, right on my head. I hit my head so hard i thought I literally poo'ed in my skivvies. I was now terrified to ever try it again. Until, my 90 year old pole vault coach (not exaggerating) told me i was 12 feet in the air. This kind of made me a little horny... It gave me a lot of confidence that I might actually be a natural at this sport! Sp i kept practicing and i actually placed 3rd at Regionals and 5th at the State meet. all in all it was a really good year and my final jump in the state meet was 9'6". Last year season was only my first time ever trying pole vault and i had good outcome on the season, so i am really excited for what this years season and next years season has in store for me. Hopefully i can make it to states again and try my best to win.

What it takes to play Football
When i step onto the fresh cut field at 7 p.m. on a Friday night and i smell grass and concession food, i know it can only mean one thing, Football. Football has been a part of my life since i started in 1st grade. Back then of course it was flag football. And i slowly worked my way up the chain of awesomeness. From flag it went to 3 and 4th grade tackle then popawarnar, to Middle school 7th and 8th, and finally to High school football. High school football was a totally different story than any other grade of football i had been through. It evolves from playing with boys to playing with men. When you see a 220 pound 6'2" man running at you full speed its a little intimidating to think that "wow i need to run full speed into that thing?!" but, that is the name of the game. For me, this is a adrenaline rush. I love getting on the field on opening kick off and flying down the field like a wild maniac just to know i get to light someone up. In order to be good in football, you have to train vigorously. Which means practices in the middle of summer sometimes in excess of three hours in the middle of the day. Also, the weight room becomes your second home. For example, I have been in the weight room, preparing for this years season every week. I have set personal goals for myself to set before the season starts. When you set personal goals it gives you something to work for, and to keep pushing yourself for. My one major goal for this years football season is to win the state championship. Not just make it to states, But actually win it. All in all, football is my favorite sport because of the work you put into it, an deliver such memorable moments that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Mr. Bucksport's Finest
It all started with an idea. Mr. Bucksport?? nahhhh... Until i found out i was being held against my will, and i had to help Bailey Graychase with all his acts.. I immediately think two things. Kill me now, and Wow he is gonna win, he has me! I had realized i was not only wanted by Bailey, but i also was wanted by Josh and Dylan! This was now a game of choices...I could either help one or none. I chose Bailey because it just worked out that way. So we were committed! We were gonna do Mr Bucksport and we were going to win. Now the fun part, practice. You would never guess... but we procrastinated and waited till one week till show time to start practicing. This has now created a stress level beyond comfort. Me... I like to consider my self a entertainer. But even as i practice on the stage i begin to think that i have a severe case of stage fright. When i get stage fright.. I get fright gas. Which means i get the nervous farts. I honestly thought i made Bailey pass out one night just in rehearsal. But in all seriousness, bailey and i put in so many hours of practice the last week before competition. Actually this past Saturday, the day before the show bailey picked me up at 7:30 a.m. and i practiced with him till 5 p.m. The nerves don't actually set in until you cant hear yourself talking backstage because of the amount of people in the gym. I am farting more now than i have in ten years. Its bad to cause nervous farts stink. But all in all i pushed through the stomach cramps and stress, and pulled away from the competition. Bailey ended up winning the show and was awarded 300 dollars. It was a fabulous outcome for such hard work.
Maine Winters
When southerners think of Maine, they think of snow, lobsters, and moose. Pretty much that that sums it up. Maine is cold. and the worst state out of 50. This state consists of two seasons. Summer and winter. there is no in-between. It is cold 6 months of the year and warm 6 months of the year. I am sick and tired of fearing for my life every time I want to leave my house. My steps are ice, my driveway is ice, my car wont start. They call this "Vacation Land"? I call it cold and bumpy land. Cause with cold, comes bumps. Frost heaves. Not just any frost heaves, im talking ones where you go air borne, and pot holes so big you disappear. I do not remember the last time i woke up in the middle of march and had ice formed around my window. I also don't ever remember it being 0 degrees in the middle of march. Why cant winter be one month? If we had 3 huge snow storms during the month of December and through Christmas and new years everybody would be happy and summer could start early. Don;t get me wrong... I love ice fishing and hunting in the cold of November but i would rather hunt and fish in 50 degree weather rather than 10 below. Same goes with snowmobiling Its awesome! except for the fact that I go for about 2 hours strait and realize i might have frost bite in my toes and fingers and when i put my hands in the snow it actually feels warmer than the air. Pretty much that's Maine winters in a nut-shell. And i know its my home but this is getting ridiculous. We need some warm weather or im gunna start throwing 'bows.

The Great Bucksport Fire
It all started as a clear day at the mysterious Robert Cloutiers residents. I was assigned to small project. The project was a small riding lawn mower with a mechanical failure. The Failure was, it wouldn't start. Me being my mechanically entitled self, i figured it was an easy fix. I applied fresh gas, drained the old gas, checked the spark plugs, checked the oil and charged the battery. Fired er' up, and ohhhh she FIRED up alright... that and the gas can filled with 5 gallons of gas.. Yeah holy shit is what ran through my mind. Not literally, Shit that is Holy, but you know what i mean. Ive never hauled ass so fast that my shoes literally were smoking. When you are running from a burning gas can you realize how important life is to you and that if you died how much it would suck. Moral of the story. Dont start lawn mowers inside houses.
